Hello! I am Ankita and I am a visiting Ph.D. student in the lab.

I have done my M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology from MAHE (Manipal University)

I work with a protein that is named Sonic Hedgehog (Shh). I study the secretion of this protein on cellular carriers called exosomes. I am interested in understanding how different exosomal forms of Shh function during neural tube development.

Singing Bollywood songs is my pet peeve. I'm a foodie and so I also like to explore eateries and cafes to try new dishes.
